I love to paint butterflies as they are very colourfull and fragile beings. But moreover they are regarded as a symbol for change, freedom, transformation...
I choose painting chameleons as they perfectly adopt themself to their environment. The titel 'change your colour' shall motivate the beholder to think about his life. Is he like a chameleon assimilating himself to his environment or is he encouraged enough to show a different colour?

Baraque Michel is a moor landscape in Belgium. The trees growing there are very sparse and broken and have a symbolic character. Green fir trees and a perfect blue sky are giving hope-hope of a better future, a future where we care about nature...
